The World's First Eco Illumination:
Tropical Eco Lights in the Botanical Garden 2024 ~Illumination using the absolute minimum electricity~

Tropical Eco Lights, produced by the YAKEI Convention & Visitors Bureau (director: Motoo Marumaru) is the first illumination event in the world based on a theme of both illumination and ecology.

The event uses countless ideas to limit electricity consumption, such as adopting low powered LED lights and designing illumination that leaves an impression on visitors with minimal light, to achieve a major reduction in electricity consumption and CO2 emissions.

This illumination initiative aims to pass on beautiful nightscapes to future generations while helping to realize a sustainable society.

Restaurant in the Botanical Garden Restaurant PEACE

View the mystical illumination only possible at a botanical garden, such as the lotuses of light, through the big glass windows of the garden restaurant, while enjoying delicious cuisine made using local ingredients.

Insects of the World Exhibit

This exhibit features 20 living and approximately 300 preserved insect specimens, with a focus on Japanese rhinoceros beetles (Kabutomushi) and stag beetles (Kuwagata).
