What kind of flower is bougainvillea?
The part of this plant that looks like the petal is actually called a “bract”, a type of colored leaf, and the real flower is the small white one in the middle surrounded by the bracts.

The main attraction is the Bougainvillea Tower, one of the largest in Japan reaching approximately 8 meters high. This dreamy attraction fills your eyes with flowers, using abundant bougainvillea as far as you can see. Illumination from 5:00PM! Enjoy twice, both afternoon and evening!

Insects of the World Exhibit
This exhibit features approximately 20 types of living specimens, with a focus on Japanese rhinoceros beetles (Kabutomushi) and stag beetles (Kuwagata). There are also approximately 300 preserved specimens on display, divided by habitat.
